2016 British Open. My pick this week is Sergio

With the Open Championship on it's way this week, the favorites for this year's title include Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Jordan Speith, Rory Mcllroy, and Sergio Garcia.  With the conditions in question this week, if the course remains soft the players can get off to a great start on the front nine as there are many birdies out there on the first few holes.  The Championship starts this Thursday at Royal Troon, for the 145th playing of this historic tournament.  The winner this week must have a great week driving the golf ball off the tee, and that doesn't necessarily mean hitting a driver off the tee.  With traditional links style golf courses, positioning the ball in the fairway to avoid the rough and bunkers off the tee is critical.  Also, the windy conditions are the real defense at Royal Troon since the golf course is close to the ocean so the wind really blows out there. The players will need to deal with the elements in order to navigate around the course.

My pick this week is Sergio Garcia, he has been performing well in the majors this year but hasn't closed the deal. I think this is Sergio's week to get that first major he has been chasing for years.
